Jacob Sanchez
CEO OF AESTHETIC VISION INSTITUTE
Jacob Sanchez APRN, CRNA is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a sub specialty in Aesthetics. He began his Nurse anesthetist career working at the number one ENT hospital in the country in 2012. Jacob made his presence known quickly in academia by having been recognized by Harvard’s Anesthesiology department for Teaching in excellence.
In 2015 Jacob Sanchez moved to south Florida where he delivered anesthesia for Palmetto General Hospital. Having safely delivered anesthesia for orthopedic, thoracic, and even emergency cases. Jacob left the public sector in 2016 to begin working as an independent contractor delivering anesthesia for over 40 different facilities ranging from cosmetic surgery center to ambulatory center in the south Florida area. In 2018 Jacob started an independent injectable practice while simultaneously working as an independent contractor. He Quickly began gaining notoriety for his aesthetic eye. At a part time 3 day operation in 2018, Get Refreshed began selling more fillers and neurotoxins than group purchasing injectable practice consisting of three or more store fronts. Since then he has been recognized as America’s top injectors three years consecutively along with several other accolades. Jacob Sanchez and Get Refreshed have rapidly become the most trusted brand when it comes to injectables. This has led to a successful educational program for practitioners alike seeking to gain knowledge and clinical application on how to inject an addition to opening and running a successful med spa.

Johanna Duarte
BOARD CERTIFIED REGISTERED PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATE
Johanna Duarte MPAS, PA-C is a board certified Physician Associate that specializes in Aesthetic medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at Florida International University majoring in biological sciences and her master's degree at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She started her career interning at Get Refreshed working alongside Jacob Sanchez and eventually got offered a position at the prestigious Med spa. She has dedicated every single day to learning and mastering all of the techniques. In a short period of time she has captured patients trust and has even began teaching courses at the Aesthetic Vision Institute. She dedicated to improving the industry's standard of care and gaining patients trust while managing their aging process.

Angie Rivera
BOARD CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER
Angela Rivera ARNP, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Aesthetic medicine. She completed her undergraduate and graduate nursing education at the University of Miami. Her experience in aesthetics spans over 4 years with a background in plastic surgery. She completed all injectable trainings with Aesthetic Vision Institute and recently joined the team as an Injector. She is passionate about helping her patients feel like the best version of themselves while providing a safe environment for everyone, no matter what their individual aesthetic goals are.

Our comprehensive Introduction to Dermal Fillers course is one that encompasses what we felt lacked in the industry; an understanding of the actual products and the technology, hands on training, and an in-depth understand of anatomy pertaining to injectables.
This activity will consist of two parts:
Part 1:
Online pre-course that will review dermal fillers.
Part 2:
Hands-On Workshop that covers on-label use of dermal fillers. The workshop will provide hands-on training for those who want to get a firm understanding of the products and feel confident when injecting dermal fillers. Those who can legally inject in the state of FL have the opportunity for hands-on injecting. Those who do not can observe and work with the cadaver specimens.

-Review important anatomical structures when injecting dermal fillers using a cadaver
-Observe live injection demos using dermal fillers
-Attendees to work with a cadaver for injecting
-Hands-on injecting guidance for those who have a license and are qualified to inject
Educational Objectives:
After completing the Hands-On Workshop portion of this course, the participant should be better able to:
- Describe important anatomical landmarks of the face
- Describe which filler might be more appropriate for one area of the face vs. another
- Restate the differences when using a cannula or a needle and to determine which is a better option when injecting a dermal filler
- Describe how to best avoid/manage complications when injecting dermal fillers

This activity will consist of two parts:
Part 1:
Online pre-course that will review PDO Threads.
Part 2:
Hands-On Workshop that will focus on how to incorporate PDO threads into a cosmetic practice. The faculty will discuss how to assess patients and determine where threads or dermal fillers are most appropriate for attaining desired outcomes.
